This is a 8-month full-time contract position, with the possibility of extension or the role becoming permanent, ideal for someone looking to build a career in aviation logistics and stores within a regulated maintenance environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring stores are operated in compliance with AAPM Part 145 MOE’s and CASA/EASA regulatory requirementsPurchasing commercial and aircraft parts in support of company operations.Receipt, issue, storage, packaging, and dispatch of aircraft parts and non-aircraft itemsUpdating electronic inventory systems for receipting, issuing, and disposal of itemsMaintaining appropriate stock levels and carry out stock takes as requiredIncoming inspection of components and materials, including conformity checks against delivery requirementsIdentify and propose improvements to stores processes and proceduresPromote workplace safety by identifying hazards and reporting issues beyond your area of controlPerform other reasonable duties as directed by the supervisorSelection CriteriaAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong organisational and time-management skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentBasic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of aircraft components or aviation maintenance environments (advantageous but not essential)Prior stores or warehouse experience (advantageous but not essential)Current Driver’s Licence (manual)Current Forklift Licence (essential)What We OfferEntry into the aviation maintenance industrySupportive, team-oriented work environmentOn-the-job training within a CASA & EASA Part 145 organisationStable, permanent full-time employmentOpportunity to develop skills in aviation logistics, compliance, and inventory managementHow to applyApplications with CV and covering letter addressing the above criteria must be forwarded to recruitment@aapm-mro.com.au by no later than Friday, 27th of February 2026.
